- As per this infographic by Lab24 tablets are using 122 (!!!) times more data than smartphones. Overall mobile broadband traffic is posed to increase 35 times by 2015. These are whopping numbers. Supplying that amount of traffic is not technically feasible. The mobile spectrum just won't allow for it. Prices for data plans are bound to go up due to the increasing demand.
Think again if you'd still want everything in the cloud. There will be some frustration ahead. Extended use of Wifi can alleviate some of the stress but not all of it.
This will impact cross-media marketing. What's the point of scanning a code leading to a video or uploading a picture if your data plan is maxed out or the signal is so spotty that you have to try 10 times to get it done. Save for later (=once back into wifi) might have to be added. The instant gratification effect would be lost in that occasion.
Augmented reality without sufficient traffic? Not an easy task either.
We've seen the war over IP addresses running out but this will be a much bigger test for the stabilty of our networked world as is.

This is not exactly how we would treat any of our team members. Yes, you automatically climb up the ladder when you perform well but that means that you have more authority, get to do more things on your own and eventually will earn more money.
It doesn't need to be rubbed into everyone's face who is doing well and who isn't. That's just our take. We've been around for 10 years and we are proud to say that we haven't put anyone in the dungeon and have no plans to do so in the foreseeable future. Sometimes our office might be a zoo but it is not a place to run a reality show. Your thoughts???
Note:
Some of our Cologne team members might be in some sort of dungeon right now but that's just because the are sobering up from their carnival activities :)
